Marc D. Fine is a Member in the Firm’s Evansville, Indiana, office. Mr. Fine joined Jackson Kelly PLLC in 2014 following the Firm’s merger with Rudolph, Fine, Porter & Johnson, LLP. As a member of the Tax Practice Group, he advises clients in complex matters of corporate, business, tax and banking law. His practice also includes real estate development and leasing, trust and probate administration and estate and tax planning.
Mr. Fine has significant experience and knowledge in business and financial matters. He was a founder of a community bank and currently serves on the Board of Directors of German American Bank, a $2 billion financial institution.
Mr. Fine has been appointed by two successive Governors of the State of Indiana as a Commissioner of the Indiana Gaming Commission. He is a member in good standing of the Indiana, Illinois and Florida Bar.
Mr. Fine received an undergraduate degree in finance (with distinction) from the Indiana University Kelley School of Business and a law degree from the University of Illinois.

Counsel to a national consulting firm from original formation in 2002 to growth and expansion with operations in 35 states and more than 200 individual professional consultants and annual revenue in excess of $40 million in 12 years
Counsel to a financial institution in connection with the drafting of equipment leasing documents to allow for electronic automated completion of lease instruments for the specified lease transaction and attainment of the desired tax treatment, residual arrangement and tax identity of the lease
Counsel to an international plastics manufacturer in the lease and construction of a build to suit and leaseback of a 560,000 square foot distribution facility
Counsel to a manufacturer in the sub‑lease and construction of a build‑to‑suit 600,000 square foot storage facility on municipally‑owned property leased to a commercial developer
Counsel to a regional real estate developer in (i) negotiating and drafting documentation in connection with the 150 acre site acquisition; (ii) formation of the property development affiliate entity; (iii) assisting the developer with the financing negotiation and documents; (iv) the leasing of the site to build‑to‑suit leases
