Congratulations to JK attorney Laurie Miller who received the G. Duffield Smith Outstanding Publication Award from DRI at its Annual Meeting in Boston, Massachusetts last Thursday.  According to DRI, this award honors the authors of the most outstanding defense related article published For The Defense or the In-House Defense Quarterly in 2015.”  Laurie published "Easier to Read and Understand, Easier to Apply: Jury Instructions — Writing to Win" published in For the Defense in the March 2015 issue.  Click the link above to read Laurie’s article; it is one that litigators should read.
