Jackson Kelly Attorney to Present at ILMCT Institute & Academy

Joshua A. Claybourn, Counsel in the Firm’s Evansville office, will give a presentation on March 12th at the 23rd Annual Indiana League of Municipal Clerks and Treasurers Institute & Academy held at Ball State University in Muncie, Indiana. The presentation is titled “Municipal Resolutions, Ordinances and Codifications.”

Joshua will discuss composing official municipal rules and pronouncements effectively and in accordance with relevant legal guidelines. The seminar will also address how to properly codify books and the nuances between ordinances and codifications.

The Indiana League of Municipal Clerks and Treasurers (ILMCT) is dedicated to promoting best practices for clerks and treasurers throughout the state. ILMCT also works with the state legislature to enact laws for the betterment of state and local government.
