Jackson Kelly lawyers named to 2016 list of Kentucky Super Lawyers

LEXINGTON, Ky. Nov. 20, 2015 – Jackson Kelly PLLC lawyers Robert F. Duncan and John W. Hays have been named to the 2016 list of Kentucky Super Lawyers. Allison Moreman has been named a 2016 Rising Star. Duncan and Hays have been included on this list since 2009 and Moreman is listed for the second year in a row.

Duncan is the Managing Member of the Firm’s Lexington, Kentucky, office. He is also the Assistant Leader of the Firm's Industrial, Environmental and Complex Litigation Practice Group. Duncan's practice involves a wide variety of civil litigation with concentration on matters pertaining to the defense of doctors, hospitals and other healthcare providers in medical professional liability actions, matters involving complex insurance issues and insurance bad faith, products liability and construction. He regularly serves as a mediator in civil litigation matters.
Hays is a Member in the Firm's Lexington, Kentucky, office. He has experience representing clients in litigation matters, including personal injury defense, property damage, insurance coverage and indemnity disputes. He has represented clients in the oil and gas industry in federal and state investigations and other matters. Hays' practice is primarily focused in construction litigation, contracts and commercial litigation. He also has extensive training and experience as a mediator in construction, commercial, employment and personal injury disputes and is on the CPR Regional Panel of Neutrals. Hays has served as an arbitrator and is on the Commercial Arbitration Panel for the American Arbitration Association. He is a frequent author and lecturer on topics related to construction and alternative dispute resolution.
Moreman is an associate in the Firm's Lexington, Kentucky, office. She is a member of the Commercial Law and Litigation Practice Groups. Moreman’s practice areas include employment law, medical malpractice, correctional healthcare, construction law and Federal Black Lung defense. She is experienced in representing clients before both state and federal courts and is admitted to practice before the Eastern and Western Districts of Kentucky and the Sixth Circuit Court of Appeals.
