Jackson Kelly PLLC announces move of Pittsburgh office
December 27, 2019
The law firm Jackson Kelly PLLC announced Friday that it would begin moving its offices from one Downtown Pittsburgh building to another.
The firm, which employs 140 attorneys in 10 offices around the country, said that it would be moving from its current location in Three Gateway Center into the newly renovated Union Trust Building. The firm will occupy a space on the top two floors of the building.
The Union Trust Building recently underwent a $100 million restoration by The Davis Companies, who recently put the building up for sale. The 500,000-square-foot building was built in 1915-1916 through the funding of industrialist Henry Clay Frick. The structure features a 400-seat theater, arcade shopping center, and a gym. A restaurant, the Speckled Egg, is set to open in the building next month.
"The Union Trust Building offers the grandeur, innovation, and central proximity that will support our commitment to provide our clients with superior service," Michael Leahey, managing member of Jackson Kelly's Pittsburgh office, said in a statement.
Jackson Kelly had inked a deal in March to move into the space. They join several other law firms, including Pepper Hamilton and Buchanan Ingersoll & Rooney, that have moved into the Union Trust Building.
