Jackson Kelly PLLC Elevates Four Associate Attorneys to Firm Member

Jackson Kelly PLLC is pleased to announce that the Firm has elevated attorneys Patrick F. Estill, Candice M. Harlow, Christopher F. Hoskins, and Andrew N. Schock to Member, all effective January 1, 2021.

Patrick F. Estill is in the Construction industry and Business Law groups, practicing out of the Firm’s office in Lexington, Kentucky. He has a wide array of experience in construction transactions, drafting and negotiating contracts and other project-related documents for owners, contractors, and consultants and routinely advising on risk-allocation in projects. He also deals with procurement matters, including under Kentucky’s public-private partnership laws. Patrick also has extensive experience in business litigation and corporate law matters.
Candice M. Harlow is in the Health Care industry group, focusing primarily on health care litigation. She practices out of the Firm’s office in Charleston, West Virginia. Most of Candice’s work involves representing health care providers in medical negligence cases. Candice has assisted in the defense of a number of health care liability claims, involving a variety of medical issues, filed under the West Virginia Medical Professional Liability Act (MPLA) by way of taking and defending client and expert witness depositions, preparing and presenting oral arguments, participating in mediation, and taking cases to trial.
Christopher F. Hoskins is in the Equine, Construction, Health Care, and Manufacturing industry groups, focusing primarily on commercial litigation. He practices out of the Firm’s office in Lexington, Kentucky. Christopher represents racetracks, horse farms, owners and various businesses involved in the equine industry. He also practices in the construction industry, representing general contractors, construction managers, design professionals and others on construction projects. In addition, Christopher regularly advises on various governmental, legislative, and regulatory matters.
Andrew N. Schock is in the Energy industry group, focusing primarily on commercial litigation. He practices out of the Firm’s office in Akron, Ohio. Andrew’s previous experience as a landman and title examiner for an energy consulting group provides him with in-depth background knowledge, used to his clients’ advantage. Along with his experience in litigation, Andrew has experience conducting title examinations and drafting certified oil and gas title opinions as well as due diligence and title defect curative work. In addition to oil and gas-related litigation, Andrew represents clients in cases involving pharmaceutical torts, creditor’s rights, construction issues, and various other commercial issues.
