Recent law suits brought against large employers like Walmart and meat packing plants, claiming that these companies failed to adequately protect employees during the coronavirus outbreak, have highlighted potential liabilities that employers face as more employees begin to return to work and essential industry continues to operate while testing remains scarce. This webinar highlights the basis for the law suits that have made recent headlines and discusses proactive steps that employers can take to limit their exposure to employee law suits or agency action.
The Colorado Mining Association (CMA), established in 1876, is the oldest professional mining industry trade association in the U.S. Its membership numbers nearly 1,000 individuals and companies. The CMA membership is comprised of companies who are actively engaged in the exploration, production, and refining of metals, coal and industrial minerals. Membership also includes businesses and individuals that offer services and supplies to the mining industry.
