Snowden Elected to DTCWV Leadership Position

Susan Snowden has been elected to serve as secretary of the board of governors of the Defense Trial Counsel of West Virginia (DTCWV) at its 37th annual meeting at The Resort at Glade Springs in Daniels, West Virginia. The DTCWV was formed in 1981 to provide a network of West Virginia lawyers who defend individuals and businesses in civil litigation. It currently has a membership of over 500 lawyers dedicated to the defense of these clients.

Snowden is a Member in the firm’s Martinsburg, West Virginia office. She leads the Insurance industry group, focusing primarily on class action & complex litigation, and labor & employment. She also publishes a quarterly insurance defense newsletter highlighting the news in the industry, which is considered a must-read by colleagues and clients alike.

Most recently, she was named the Best Lawyers’ 2018 Morgantown Mediation “Lawyer of the Year.” She’s been included in The Best Lawyers in America® since 2013, has a Martindale-Hubbell AV Preeminent rating, is a West Virginia Super Lawyer®, and was named in the 2017 Best Lawyers® Business Edition “Women in Law."
