Caroline Massie is an Associate in the Litigation Practice group, focusing primarily on general litigation. She practices out of the Firm's Charleston, West Virginia office.
Caroline is not just an attorney for the Firm's clients, but an advocate. She understands the importance of being a litigator and makes sure both herself and our clients are prepared for court. She has spent time as both a Jackson Kelly Summer Associate and working as an intern for the United States Attorney's office for the Southern District of West Virginia where she was able to partake in weekly court proceedings, various types of trials, plea hearings and more.
Her desire to advocate for her clients also goes back to her time in law school where she was part of the Women’s Law Student Organization working as a second year law student mentor. She has experience working with the Low Income Taxpayer Clinic and working with local people on any tax controversies they had with the IRS.
Away from the courtroom and office, Caroline enjoys cycling, traveling, and reading in her spare time.
