Casey C. Kannenberg is Counsel working with the Healthcare and Commercial Litigation Practice Groups. He practices out of the Firm's office in Denver, Colorado.
Over fifteen years of litigation experience that covers healthcare, business, sports and entertainment, appellate law, and more, allows Casey to bring a vast knowledge and comfort to his clients that crosses these multiple legal fields.
That vast experience shows up in various ways in the healthcare industry, including medical malpractice, medical professional liability, corrections healthcare defense, defense of hospitals, providers, and long-term care facilities. Outside of healthcare litigation, Casey regularly guides businesses through contractual disputes, and has taken cases for breach of contract, breach of fiduciary duty, fraud, and the like, to and through trial, and has also successfully guided student athletes and coaches in NCAA-related and Title IX matters.
Casey tackles each situation from beginning to end. That includes pre-suit case assessment and budgeting, reporting, all phases of discovery (including case critical depositions), working with and managing experts, motions practice, presenting arguments at hearings, taking cases to trial, and handling appeals, all the while delegating tasks to junior associates when appropriate throughout the life cycle of a case.
He's not just an attorney though, Casey spends his free time supporting his five kids’ athletic and artistic pursuits, reading, and playing guitar in an original rock band.
