Chelsea Brown is a Member in the Litigation Practice Group focusing primarily on Health Care Litigation. She practices out of the Firm’s office in Morgantown, West Virginia.
Chelsea brings experience, confidence and knowledge to her nearly decade and a half of legal experience in health care litigation. She is a skilled communicator and strategist which has helped her clients obtain several voluntary dismissals and early favorable resolutions to litigation matters. She is s mainstay in the West Virginia Health Care legal industry, representing healthcare professionals in malpractice litigation, before licensing boards and appellate representation of healthcare clients before the West Virginia Supreme Court of Appeals.
While her healthcare practice originates from hometown of Morgantown, West Virginia, she regularly practices in other regions of the State, representing healthcare providers over a diverse geography and tailoring the representation to the needs and interests of each client and region, both heavily populated and rural.
Beyond individuals, she litigates complex regulatory matters for health care systems and their affiliates. Chelsea is committed to defending her clients’ needs whatever their origination and with her unique empathetic and client-centered approach strives to minimize the disruption that runs hand-in-hand with litigation, so that her clients can focus on providing excellent healthcare to the citizens of West Virginia. As a result, Chelsea does not shy away from high risk litigation to protect her clients’ interests.
Not only does she tackle the law with that type of intensity and confidence, in her spare time, Chelsea she loves to play fetch with her Bichon puppy, Charlie Brown, read mysteries that remind her of Nancy Drew from her childhood, and listen to live music of any variety, but especially anything with a good guitar riff.
