Jon L. Anderson is a Member in the Coal and Energy industry groups, focusing primarily on litigation and asbestos and non-medical liability litigation. He practices out of the Firm's office in Charleston, West Virginia. He also serves as Assistant General Counsel to the Firm.
Jon represents clients on a wide range of issues, including environmental, toxic tort, and workplace injury litigation. Jon represents clients through both the trial and appellate levels, having argued before the Supreme Court of Appeals of West Virginia on multiple occasions.
Jon's life revolves around his family and his work – take a quick glance around his office and you will see the décor evenly split between intricate underground mining maps and crayon drawings made by his children (not to scale). His outstanding work ethic has been evident since his college days. While other students were still trying to figure out a major, Jon graduated magna cum laude from West Virginia University with a degree in finance, and went on to graduate first in his class from West Virginia University College of Law. This passion for education and the law not only makes Jackson Kelly a better Firm, but also makes Jon a reputable force for his clients.
