Kevin Halter is a Member in the Coal, Energy, and Oil & Gas industry groups, focusing primarily on mergers and acquisitions and real estate. He practices out of the Firm’s office in Evansville, Indiana.
Kevin regularly represents owners, buyers, sellers, landlords, tenants, and lenders in a variety of commercial real estate transactions, including commercial, land, and mineral leasing, acquisition, and disposition. He has represented clients in a range of industries, including coal, oil and gas, commercial leasing, construction, and manufacturing. He advises clients ranging from small business owners to Fortune 500 companies in transactions with values ranging from thousands of dollars to one-half billion dollars. He is routinely involved in drafting and negotiating a variety of commercial transaction documents, including purchase and sale agreements, loan agreements and other credit documents, office and retail leases, coal leases, oil and gas leases, mineral title opinions, service agreements, sales agreements, and vendor terms and conditions.
Kevin earned his undergraduate degree in history and philosophy from Indiana University in Bloomington. He then obtained his law degree from Maurer School of Law at Indiana University in Bloomington, Indiana.
