Lucinda L. Fluharty is a Member in the Manufacturing industry group, focusing primarily on coal, litigation, and labor and employment. She practices out of the Firm’s office in Morgantown, West Virginia.
Lucinda routinely represents employers dealing with issues related to workers’ compensation and employment, and defends a range of large and small manufacturing companies from injury and disease claims. She also uses her skills to defend coal companies against claims filed under the Federal Black Lung Benefits Act.
Lucinda considers herself a people person who loves the give and take that comes with solving disputes for her clients. Her personable demeanor always shines through, whether she's interacting with clients, colleagues, or opposing counsel. Lucinda knows what it takes to get the job done, though, and relishes quiet time in her office, which she uses to tackle research, brief writing, and strategy.
Outside of the office, Lucinda can be found relaxing with a good book, knitting, or traveling to new places. She is an avid collector of mid-century modern antiques, so she's always on the lookout throughout her travels. For Jackson Kelly and its clients, Lucinda’s character and dedication to her work makes her a true asset.
