Martha M. Hall is Counsel in the Business Law practice group, focusing primarily on trusts and estate and tax issues. She practices out of the Firm’s offices in Charleston and Morgantown, West Virginia.
In addition to being a lawyer, Martha is a Certified Public Accountant (CPA). She practiced for 18 years as a CPA in Pittsburgh before she attended law school. Her primary CPA practice areas were estate planning and taxation relating to individuals, estates, trusts, and charitable organizations. She uses this experience in her current law practice, where she enjoys meeting clients and working with them on developing their estate plans to benefit family members and charities as well as helping to administer her clients’ estates and trusts.
Martha’s other area of expertise is basketball – she’s a coach, a player, and a fan, particularly of her alma mater, West Virginia University. She’s also a patron of the arts, serving as a board member for Charleston’s Fund for the Arts organization.
