Stephanie R. Renner is Counsel in the Business practice group, focusing primarily on Banking. She practices out of the Firm's office in Lexington, Kentucky.
Stephanie has a diverse experience in both law and business, having served as in-house counsel and head of compliance for banks, as well as outside counsel and consultant for manufacturers, home builders, hotels and other businesses, including non-profits. She has handled everything from business entity formation, corporate governance documents, contracts, risk management and compliance to employee handbooks, policies and procedures, severance agreements and emergency plans. Stephanie understands all aspects of the banking and corporate world, which leads to her understanding the need for practical legal advice for her clients.
Stephanie is heavily involved in her community. She has served on numerous non-profit boards and committees, including the March of Dimes, the Louisville Children’s Museum, and AVOL. Stephanie received the 2021 Business First Enterprising Women Award and was a 2014 Business First’s Forty Under 40 Honoree. She is a graduate of both Leadership Louisville and Leadership Lexington.
As for Stephanie's interests outside the law office, she stays busy with her two teenage boys, Jordan and Trevor, and her incredibly stubborn labradoodle, Ella. She is a self-proclaimed foodie, loves Notre Dame football, and last minute road trips.
