Zachary H. "Zach" Warder is an Associate practicing in the Energy industry group, focusing primarily on commercial litigation. He practices out of the Firm's office in Morgantown, West Virginia.
As an Associate, Zach is committed to zealously representing his clients so that their best interests are always served and enjoys the thrill, strategy and constant client interaction that occurs throughout all phases of litigation. He possesses a wide array of experience, from drafting pleadings, discovery motions and legal memoranda on a wide range of complicated legal, jurisdictional, and evidentiary matters to arguing motions in Circuit Court.
Zach received his law degree from the West Virginia University College of Law in 2018. While in law school, he served as Senior Managing Editor of Volume 120 of the West Virginia Law Review. Zach was also a proud member of the United States Supreme Court Clinic and earned a CALI Excellence for the Future Award in Contracts.
Prior to law school, Zach worked in the U.S. House of Representatives as the Special Assistant to the Chief Administrative Officer. In this role, Zach was involved in overseeing the House's Acquisition Management, Finances, Media Galleries, Logistics and Support, and House Information Resources. During his time on Capitol Hill, Zach learned how to work effectively with Congressmen and Congressional Staff from all different backgrounds and beliefs. This lesson has proved invaluable both in Zach's professional and personal life.
When Zach isn't practicing law, he enjoys going on hikes with his Golden Retriever, playing golf (poorly...), traveling and reading historical non-fiction.
